User Agreement

trikappa.org Online User Agreement

The following User Agreement governs the use of trikappa.org, including its bulletin boards and e-mail contact. Please read the rules contained in this Agreement carefully before using this site. Your use of trikappa.org will constitute your agreement to comply with these rules. If you cannot agree to these rules, please do not use this site.

Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. may modify the User Agreement from time to time. Notice of revisions to this Agreement will be announced on this page. Continued access of trikappa.org by you will constitute your acceptance of any changes or revisions of the Agreement.

This site is intended to educate the public about Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. and its activities and to foster communication between members. In order to maintain our website as an enjoyable and informative experience for all participants, you agree to abide by certain rules regarding your participation.Your failure to follow these rules, whether listed below or in bulletins posted at various points in trikappa.org, may result in termination of service. This will be at the discretion of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., Council (the five elected officers who serve as the governing body) or its appointed designee, without notice, in addition to Service Provider's other remedies.

RULES OF USAGE:
Comments by users are not endorsed by Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. does not necessarily endorse, support, sanction, encourage, verify, or agree with comments, opinions or statements posted on bulletin boards or otherwise contained in trikappa.org. Any information or material placed online, including advice or opinions, are the views and responsibility of those who post the statements, and does not necessarily represent the views of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc.

WEBSITE OWNERSHIP:
Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. is the owner of trikappa.org. All materials contained in the website are the property of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. You may not reproduce or distribute its contents by any means without written permission. You may not link to trikappa.org without permission of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc.

USE OF TRIKAPPA.ORG BY YOU:
Your right to use trikappa.org is personal to you. You may not authorize others to use the site, and you are responsible for all use of trikappa.org. Any breach of security should be reported to the webmaster immediately.

You agree to not use any obscene, indecent, offensive or inflammatory language or to post on the site any material that is offensive, defamatory, abusive, harassing or hateful. Material will be removed at the discretion of Council or its designee and termination of access may result. In addition, you may not post material that constitutes junk mail or unauthorized advertising, invades anyone's privacy, encourages illegal conduct, gives rise to civil liability, or that violates any local, state, national or international law or regulation. You agree to use trikappa.org only for lawful purposes and you acknowledge your failure to do so may subject you to civil and criminal liability. You will not use trikappa.org for chain letters, junk mail, "spamming", solicitations, or any use of distribution lists.

You agree to use any present and future message features (including, but not limited to e-mail, chat rooms, bulletin boards) in a responsible manner. Material posted by e-mail, chat client or on bulletin boards must abide by the rules set forth in this Agreement.

You are not to quote personal communication in material you provide to trikappa.org or on its bulletin boards without permission of the original author.

You are not to post your personal contact information, other than e-mail address, without permission of Council. You are not to post anyone else's personal information.

You are not to use trikappa.org for political lobbying or for commercial purposes. Material on trikappa.org is for your personal use only. Trikappa.org contains copyrighted and proprietary information. You may not, in any way, make commercial or other unauthorized use, by publication, re-transmission, distribution, performance, caching, or otherwise of material obtained through trikappa.org.

You agree to not disrupt or interfere with service through trikappa.org, nor to alter or tamper with any information or materials on or associated with trikappa.org.

You acknowledge that the trikappa.org and Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. has not reviewed content of all sites linked to from trikappa.org and is not responsible for content or action of other sites linked to from trikappa.org and does not endorse them. Your linking to the service or site is at your own risk.

USE OF MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY YOU:
Postings to and communications with trikappa.org are not private. You grant Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc. the unrestricted right to use, reproduce, modify, translate, transmit and distribute any material you supply or communicate to trikappa.org in any medium and for any purpose.

You are responsible for ensuring that any material you provide to trikappa.org or post on a bulletin board does not violate copyright, trademark, trade secret or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third party or is posted with the permission of the owner(s) of such rights.

When supplying photos to trikappa.org, you vouch that you have received permission from those in the photograph. No photos of anyone under the age of 18 shall be accepted without written permission of their parent or legal guardian. A release form must be filed with the webmaster for photo submissions.

When submitting material to trikappa.org, you must follow submission guidelines. Failure to follow these guidelines and rules of the Agreement may result in the delay or failure to process your submissions or the removal of submissions from the site at the discretion of Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., Council or their designee.

MATERIAL POSTED BY OTHERS:
You agree that Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc and trikappa.org are not responsible, and shall have no liability to you with respect to any information or materials posted by others, including defamatory, offensive or illicit material.

INDEMNIFICATION:
You agree to indemnify Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., trikappa.org, Council, its officers, employees and affiliates, agents and representatives, and to hold them harmless from any and all claims and liabilities (including attorney's fees) which may arise from your submissions, from your unauthorized use of material obtained through trikappa.org, or from the breach of this Agreement, or from any such acts through your use of trikappa.org.

APPLICABLE LAW:
The trikappa.org User Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without giving effect to its conflict of law provisions.

EDITING AND DELETIONS:
Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., trikappa.org, Council and it's designee(s) reserve the right, but undertakes no duty, to review, edit, move, or delete any material provided for display, submitted to or place on trikappa.org or its bulletin boards, in its sole discretion without notice.

TERMINATION:
Kappa Kappa Kappa, Inc., trikappa.org, Council and its designee(s) have the right to terminate your access to trikappa.org, for any reason, without notice.

ACCEPTANCE OF USE:
By using trikappa.org, you signify your agreement to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not use this website.
